2. Helping tsunami victims find relief
through the arts
The estimated 1.5 million children affected by the tsunami
need psychological help beyond humanitarian relief. The International
Children's Art Foundation (ICAF) and American Art Therapy
Association have collaborated with researchers and trauma
experts to develop a set of guidelines for using art to help

would address the growing national shortage of allied health

A nationwide survey of VHA Inc hospitals shows that caring
for obese patients is an increasing challenge, for hospital
executives and caregivers alike. Twenty-eight percent of responding
hospitals reported an increase in workplace injuries related
to lifting obese patients, with back injuries being most common:
