Hospital Employment Climbs in June

Employment at the nation's hospitals rose 0.13% in June to a seasonally adjusted 4,320,400 people, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. That's 5,700 more than in May and 60,600 more than a year ago. Those numbers without seasonal adjustment show hospitals employed 4,327,500 people in June, which is 20,900 more than in May and 61,400 more than a year ago. The nation's overall unemployment rate was unchanged in June at 5.6%.
